Whether single or in a relationship, there is one sure fire way for men to give women the turn off, and that is bad underwear. Men seem to want their women dressed like a Victoria Secret model whilst they still prance around the bedroom in the same underwear their mum bought them when they lived at home.
Being a modern day gent extends to all aspects of your wardrobe, and that includes undergarments.
Spend the time to look through and assess the current state of your underwear drawer a couple of times a year. This is echoed by Tom Ford who said men should replace all underwear and socks every six months.
Not only will an old pair of briefs look bad, but they won’t give you the same comfort and support they once did in earlier life. Try to stay away from cheap brands because as with all aspects of your closet it will be buy cheap, buy twice! Staying on the high street then Uniqlo does basics very well and without a big price point, making it easier for men to replace in bulk.
I would suggest buying the majority of underwear from somewhere like Uniqlo, where you know they are affordable but won’t deteriorate rapidly with multiple washes. That way you can invest in a few more expensive pairs for those romantic rendezvous.
