A man probably as comfortable lounging around in his underwear as he is in a Savile Row suit. David Gandy has fast become the face of British fashion. As an ambassador for London Collections: Men, he regularly champions British heritage traditions, selecting key British menswear brands to be worn on the front row. He is subsequently perhaps the most photographed man during the fashion event.
Mr Gandy found fame after winning a TV modeling competition (This Morning) in 2001. He soon caught the eye of Dolce and Gabbana, becoming a regular of their catwalk shows and campaigns. Since 2006 he has been the face of their D&G Light Blue fragrance.
Over his career he has dabbled in fashion journalism, released a fitness app and has started designing his own range of loungewear and underwear for high street stalwart Marks and Spencer.
As a regular at fashion events and shows, Mr Gandy has consistently featured highly in men’s ‘best-dressed’ lists for the likes of GQ. Looking at the pictures below it isn’t hard to see why his style is rated so eminently among the British fashion world.

Sam Brady is a menswear expert, having worked in or around the field for the past 14 years. He has built up a keen eye for detail when it comes to the production of clothing, and is happy showcasing the craftsmanship of Savile Row and Jermyn St. But he understands the need for an interchangeable modern man’s wardrobe that mixes high street and luxury clothing.
